What's the goal? Reduce recidivism of formerly incarcerated
individuals (Institute participants)
How we accomplish this... Provide formerly incarcerated men with viable skills that support
their ability to identify, analyze, manage, and resolve their internal issues so that they can establish crime-free life
styles.
Coach formerly incarcerated fathers as they apply newly acquired skills and patterns of thinking to their
relationships with family, community, faith organizations and employment.
Assist participants to establish structured,
productive lives as they solve real life problems such as addressing outstanding obligations (child support arrearages,
restitution, etc.), seeking and obtaining employment, creating a budget, and securing housing.
What's the goal? Increase employment retention of formerly incarcerated men (Institute
participants) in law abiding endeavors
How we accomplish this... Develop participants' interpersonal communication and conflict
resolution skills as marketable employment assets, making them attractive prospects in any work environment
Provide
work support to participants while they attend classroom sessions and apply their classroom skills in a supervised environment.
What's the goal? Create opportunities for Institute participants to "give-back" and
"pay-forward" in ways that demonstrate their personal growth and mastery.
